  One thing I'd like to say is that often before buying more laptop or computer memory, have a look at the machine into which it will be installed. When the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory ceiling is 3.25GB. Adding a lot more than this would just constitute a new waste. Make sure that one's motherboard can handle the actual upgrade quantity, as well. Great blog post.
